The girls celebrated Christmas with a wonderful night out at Teppanyaki full of laughter and some much needed chill out time after the crazy season. We won’t mention who got egg on their face.
Our Maddy has commenced her second year in hairdressing. Over the next few weeks she is attending a creative cutting course with her college; Creative Edge Training. Maddy is busy getting her colour on in the salon and has found her creative flair. It is wonderful seeing her grow. She is very talented and we love working with her on her hair journey.
Lea will be spending the month of April abroad and will be very missed by her team and clients through this time. Lea is counting down the months till her first overseas trip to Europe. We look forward to many pictures and to hearing about the wonderful hair trends from the other side of the world!
Sharni, Caitie and Maddy will be holding down the DeZine fort while Lea is enjoying the trip of a lifetime.
We all look forward to seeing our beautiful clients in 2016
The summer sun is shining bright and the heat is definitely a factor we are all trying to escape. As we lather up our skin with sun screen let’s not forget that our hair needs some protection too. Our product of the month is our MOROCCAN OIL.
Moroccan oil is naturally high in fatty acids and vitamin E, making it a good treatment for damaged hair. Hair becomes damaged from the use of styling products, blow drying and straightening, and the weather, as well as non environmental factors like air conditioning. It is great to use in dry and towel dried hair. Try some today!
Attention all short cuts!!!
Just a few tips for those with shorter hair! As we all know, having shorter hair is so much easier to manage. It’s basically a wash and dry kind of style. Here are a few tips to add a bit of glam to your hair.
Getting a haircut
Shorter hair means regular haircuts. Maintaining a regular trim is not only beneficial to the health of your hair but also to maintaining that hair style. Ladies with shorter styles should be having a trim every four to eight weeks depending on how your hair is cut. For example someone with a sleek, sharp cut would need maintaining closer to the four week mark. These regular trims will make mornings that much easier.
Start a regular colour & style cycle. To ensure your hair colour stays beautiful and consistent, it’s a good idea to touch up your roots/ends every four to six weeks. Try a colour lock shine treatment to really enhance your colour and add some shine into your hair. If you are finding your colour is fading too fast; ask us about our True Hue Capsules as this will add strength in order for that colour to hold. Also, we recommend using a shampoo and conditioner specifically designed for colour treated hair. Exercising little tips such as these will help you say good bye to bad hair days.
We enter 2016 working with innovative and exotic hair trends; fresh, exciting and perfect for a new you! It’s all about colour as well as adapting to shorter hair styles. Sharp edges and fringes are making a strong come back this season. One of a kind colours and shades continue to be a high order in the industry. Having fun with our new techniques of hair painting as well this year to create blended tone effects.
Trends for Men & Ladies:
Men have a look in this season too! The fresh cut remains popular and well kept beards. “Bieber” colour is a real winner with the hip and the cool!
Ageless trends for everyone:
“Undercut” is a style that has survived through generation to generation. It has changed slightly over time and remains classy and popular with men and women of all ages. One of the hottest trends is coming back from the 70’s.
We find satisfaction in giving our clients the best experience possible. We rely on your feedback to know where we can improve. If you have any input or even just some questions; we would love to hear from you!
